I composed this prayer in SudhaDhara metre on Ganaehsa Chaturthi of Shubhakrit (2022). SudhaDhara means a stream of nectar. You can find such a sweet flowing quality in its rhythm!

अद्रिजासुपुत्रकं मर्दितासुशत्रुकं।
रुद्रशूलखण्डितं भद्रशीलमण्डितं।
ऐभवक्त्रशोभितं शैवभक्तितोषितं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ १

सिद्धिबुद्धिसंयुतं सिद्धचारणार्चितं।
आर्षमौनियोगिहृत्सु सर्वदा निवासिनं।
वर्जितारिषष्ठकं नष्टपाशकाष्टकं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ २

वक्रबुद्धिमर्दनं वाक्पटुत्ववर्धनं।
व्यासकाव्यलेखकं श्राव्यगीतमोदितम्।
शिष्टचारुवर्तनं हृष्टमत्तनर्तनं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ ३

भक्तकष्टभंजनं प्राज्ञचित्तरंजनं।
योगिमौनिभावितं आखुवाहनान्वितं।
सर्वदोषमर्षणं विघ्नभीविकर्षणं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ ४

श्रीकुलाद्रिभेदकं वारितार्तिखेदकं।
भालचन्द्रकं भवं भावगम्यकेवलं।
क्षिप्रसुप्रसादनं विप्रधीप्रदीपनं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ ५

विघ्नकंधिकुम्भजं विघ्नहैमहर्मुटं।
विघ्नरोगभेषजं विघ्नसर्पतार्क्ष्यजं।
विघ्नमीनछोटिनं विघ्नदारुकागिरं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ ६

चन्दनादिचर्चितं सर्वदेवतार्चितं।
कार्तिकेयसोदरं मोदकप्रियं वरं।
शिष्टभक्तवत्सलं सृष्टिहेतुनिष्कलं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ ७

अन्तहीनमच्युतं अन्तरायकृन्तनं।
रक्तवस्त्रवेष्टितं रक्तिशक्तियुक्तिदं।
मौक्तिकान्वितं हितं मौक्तिकस्य मुक्तिदं।
विघ्ननक्तिभास्वरं स्तौमि तं गणेश्वरं॥ ८

गणेश्वराष्टकं भक्त्या यः पठेद्बुद्धिमान्नरः।
तस्य विघ्नविनाशश्च कार्यसिद्धिर्भवेत् सदा॥

adrijāsuputrakaṁ marditāsuśatrukaṁ |
rudraśūlakhaṇḍitaṁ bhadraśīlamaṇḍitaṁ |
aibhavaktraśobhitaṁ śaivabhaktitoṣitaṁ |
vighnanaktibhāsvaraṁ staumi taṁ gaṇeśvaraṁ || 1

siddhibuddhisaṁyutaṁ siddhacāraṇārcitaṁ |
ārṣamauniyogihṛtsu sarvadā nivāsinaṁ |
varjitāriṣaṣṭhakaṁ naṣṭapāśakāṣṭakaṁ |
vighnanaktibhāsvaraṁ staumi taṁ gaṇeśvaraṁ || 2

vakrabuddhimardanaṁ vākpaṭutvavardhanaṁ |
vyāsakāvyalekhakaṁ śrāvyagītamoditam |
śiṣṭacāruvartanaṁ hṛṣṭamattanartanaṁ |

bhaktakaṣṭabhaṁjanaṁ prājñacittaraṁjanaṁ |
yogimaunibhāvitaṁ ākhuvāhanānvitaṁ |

విఘ్నకంధికుమ్భజం విఘ్నహైమహర్ముటం |
విఘ్నరోగభేషజం విఘ్నసర్పతార్క్ష్యజం |
విఘ్నమీనఛోటినం విఘ్నదారుకాగిరం |
విఘ్ననక్తిభాస్వరం స్తౌమి తం గణేశ్వరం || ౬

చన్దనాదిచర్చితం సర్వదేవతార్చితం |
కార్తికేయసోదరం మోదకప్రియం వరం |
శిష్టభక్తవత్సలం సృష్టిహేతునిష్కలం |
విఘ్ననక్తిభాస్వరం స్తౌమి తం గణేశ్వరం || ౭

అన్తహీనమచ్యుతం అన్తరాయకృన్తనం |
రక్తవస్త్రవేష్టితం రక్తిశక్తియుక్తిదం |
మౌక్తికాన్వితం హితం మౌక్తికస్య ముక్తిదం |
విఘ్ననక్తిభాస్వరం స్తౌమి తం గణేశ్వరం || ౮

గణేశ్వరాష్టకం భక్త్యా యః పఠేద్బుద్ధిమాన్నరః |
తస్య విఘ్నవినాశశ్చ కార్యసిద్ధిర్భవేత్ సదా ||

Meaning

Eight verses in prayer of Ganeshwara

(1) Excellent son of Parvati, one who squeezes lifeforce out of enemies, one who was severed by the Shoola of Shiva, one who is blessed with auspicious nature, one who is adorned by an elephant head, one who is pleased with devotion to Shiva, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(2) One who is with Siddhi and Buddhi (his wives also symbolizing accomplishment and wisdom), one who is worshiped by Siddhas and Chaaranas (celestial beings), one who always resides in the hearts of Rishis and Yogis, one who shunned 6 enemies (shadripus) and destroyed 8 snares (ashtapashas), one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(3) One who tramples crooked judgment, one who increases insightful speech, the scribe of Vyasa's poetry, one who is delighted by melodious songs, one who has cultured and endearing conduct, one who dances with delightful abandon, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(4) One who shatters the problems of devotees, one who gladdens the hearts of the wise, one who is contemplated by Yogis and Munis, one who has a mouse vehicle, one who forgives all deficiencies, one who repels obstacles and fear, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(5) One who breaks/pierces Kula mountain (esoterically refers to the base of Sushumna nadi in Mooladhara chakra), one who wards off pain and distress, one who has Moon on his forehead, one who causes welfare, one who is the absolute essence that can be reached only by becoming, swift giver of good blessings, one who kindles the intellect of the learned ones, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(6) One who is like Agastya to the sea of obstacles (Agastya drank the sea), one who is like Sun to the fog of obstacles, one who is like a doctor the diseases of obstacles, one who is like Garuda to the snakes of obstacles (Garuda kills snakes), one who is like a fisherman to the fish of obstacles, one who is like hot fire to the timber of obstacles, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(7) One who is smeared with sandalwood etc, one who is worshiped by all gods, brother of Kartikeya, one who loves modakas (pleasing sweet balls), one who is eminent, one who is affectionate towards wise devotees, one who is the undivided absolute that caused the creation, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

(8) One who has no end, one who has no decay, one who cuts off impediments, one who is wrapped with a red cloth, one who gives affection and attachment to various things and people, one who gives skill and planning to do things, one who gives energy to persist, one who is adorned with pearls (also means those desirous of moksha/liberation), one who does good, one who liberates a seeker desirous of liberation, one who makes obstacles disappear like Sun makes night disappear, I pray to that Ganeshwara.

Final verse: May obstacles be destroyed and ventures be successful, for the human being who is wise and chants Ganeshwarashtakam with devotion.
